The supervision device of traction power supply system for urban rail transit is a significant equipment used for man-machine communication and the display of all system information. The display terminal is used as the window for man-machine interaction in traction power supply supervision system. Functions such as status inspection, fault detection and centralized control and regulation of the power supply system are realized via supervision device. In recent years, with the rapid development of urban rail transit system, the display terminal is required to fulfill more functions: abundant graphical operation interface, high speed network communication, to obtain the real-time status of power supply system, fault detection and historical data inquiry. Therefore, the research and development of new supervision device of high performance and low power consumption is a matter of significance in both technical and application domain.The author has conducted a systematic study and research of ARM kernel structure, the customization of real-time operation system platform and the driver development of embedded system before finishing this thesis and finished the development of different terminal software and hardware platforms of traction power supply system supervision device based on ARM and Windows CE that could be used in different situations.S3C2440 is selected to be used as processing core of the supervision device in this system. On this basis, in the light of the application requirement the energy-feedback traction power supply system should meet, LCD, touch panel, USB interface and network interface are designed in the domain of hardware, while Windows CE embedded operation system is established; platform building such as the modification and kernel cutting of Board Support Package and debugging of Windows CE operation system are finished; fuctions such as man-machine interaction interface, UDP network communication, the display and recording of real-time data are realized via application in the domain of software.
