In the recent years, with the rapid development of our country'economy, highways and high-speed railways are also going in the fast developing stage. Meanwhile, because of the world economy crisis, our government takes a package of economic stimulation plans, so the highways and high-speed railways are developing on a scale. In the construction of highways and high-speed railways, road-bridges and viaducts take about 60% of their assignment, so the construction of the key layer"waterproofing layer"which can determine the life of the bridge is very important, the reason is that a better waterproofing layer can take its great effort to prevent the deck of bridge from water erosion, and prolong its ages of usage. However, there is still a great gap in the mechanization degree of waterproofing-coiled-material construction equipments for our country with the international advanced level at present. Most of the domestic waterproofing-coiled-material construction equipments are simple paving machines, which use petrol blowtorch to hot up the waterproofing coiled material. There are many disadvantages for this heating-up method, including low utilization rate of energy, complex operation which needs several skilled operators and unfavorable construction efficiency. At the same time, the control accuracy, stability, reliability and construction quality are limited. Therefore, a domestic renowned waterproofing company urgently needs a kind of paving machine for asphalt waterproofing coiled material to improve the work efficiency and guarantee the quality. Under the background mentioned above, this dissertation is just about the relative researching and developing work cooperation with this company.This dissertation mainly contains five chapters.Firstly, there is a comprehensive discussion about the construction background and development of construction equipment for asphalt waterproofing coiled material, which occupies the most of the domestic and foreign markets. Meanwhile, it expounds the significance of this study and the main research directions.Secondly, the whole scheme on the structural design of automatic paving machine for asphalt waterproofing coiled material is introduced. In this chapter, a new kind of differential mechanism, a kind of oven and a paving-mechanism are designed.Thirdly, the control system of automatic paving machine for asphalt waterproofing coiled material is set up. This control system mainly uses programmable logic controller(PLC) as central processor unit, meanwhile,several modules are adopted to complete relative function in this system, which are based on multi-sensor signals. In addition, a wireless module is also designed to realize the wireless control for paving machine.Fourthly, the design and functional realization of driving measurement and control module are stated, which are in connection with the new kind of differential mechanism. This module runs in two modes, driving state and paving state. In the mode of driving state, open-loop control is used to realize manual control, including turning left, turning right and other actions, while closed-loop control is adopted to keep going straight. However, in the mode of paving state, we adopt a kind of fuzzy parameters self-tuning PID algorithm to keep the paving machine driving at a constant speed and going straight. Otherwise, a kind of automatic searching line algorithm is presented to implement the function of automatic searching line paving.At last, this part is about experiments of this paving machine, a lot of relative simulative and field experiments show that this machine can meet the need of wide waterproofing construction for road-bridge and viaduct. Especially, the waterproofing construction for Hada and Wuguang high-speed railways demonstrated its applied ability. The features of this equipment can also be of reference by similar construction machinery.
