China has not yet had the unified regulations in the waterproofing bridge floor design, experimental and construction norms of cold regions. When using water-proof materials, there is certain blindness. It is unable to act according to the actual situation of different operations so that leading to the bridge deck waterproofing measures improperly, the quality control disorderly. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct the experimental study on the bridge floor waterproofing material, in order to be able to raise the bridge deck waterproof materials to reflect the actual performance of the testing methods and the reasonable evaluating indicator.Based on several inside experiments about water-proof materials physical and mechanical, anti-road performance and the performance of the anti-construction damage experimental studies, showed that a combination of hot laid rubber modified asphalt and gravelled bridge deck waterproof materials which has better physical and mechanical Characteristics of pavement performance and low-temperature adaptation is better than other types of waterproof materials. So it is more applicable to the concrete bridge deck application in cold regions. Heavy polymer blends rubber-plastic deck waterproof materials are apply to the cold sector and the warm area, because of their price superiority and better low temperature performance of the application.Relying on the entity engineering bridge deck paving structure, the material nonlinear characteristic of asphalt concrete bridge deck paving structure is calculated and analyzes by theoretical method. Using the principle of linear elasticity mechanics, finite element model of stress performance analysis of bridge deck paving system is established. This system contains waterproofing layer inside. There are some conclusions are proposed such as the general requirements and the location of bridge deck waterproofing, the thickness of the waterproof layer structure and the design principle of the thickness of the bridge deck pavement. According to the analysis results of the force characters of the pavements structure under the effect of the load, a kind of heat paving rubber modified asphalt bridge deck waterproofing layer which is suitable for the cold north area is given. High molecular polymer rubber and plastic model and their relevant thickness is also proposed. All these studies provide evidence for the design of bridge deck waterproof layer and pavement layer which is suitable to the cold area.Combine the construction and testing in project with massive experimental studies, put forward the corresponding construction equipments, the construction craft and the construction control, the examination target standards aiming at a combination of hot laid rubber modified asphalt and gravelled bridge deck and Heavy polymer blends rubber-plastic deck waterproofing system which are applicable to the waterproofing bridge floor in cold regions. Not only the first measured basic data and the basis for the cold local concretes bridge deck waterproofing technology's research are obtained, but also provide reference for the similar bridge floor waterproofing project.
