The Research On Architecture Groups In Urban Design Based On Visual Perception Organization Principles

Based on visual perception organization principles, we discussed about architecture groups in city design in this paper. Through the analysis of the "wholeness" which constituted by architecture groups in urban design and the use of the visual perception organization principles, we attempted to summarize a set of system which could teach us how to design architecture groups with the visual perception organization principles, at the same time, this study may help the expansion of instrumental thinking.Three knowledge fields are involved in this paper: Gestalt- Psychology, Perceptual Properties and Urban Design. In this paper, we discuss only a branch of each knowledge field which included a large number of contents. Then we determine the direction of the research papers with the knowledge.There are two parts in this paper. In the first one, we discuss the "wholeness" of the architecture groups with the means of limits. The reactions of analyzing Visual Perception for "wholeness" could help a designer to understand how to stand on the use's perspective to design. In another part, we use Visual Perception, which involved Similar Principle, Closed Principle, Simplicity principle and Continuous Principle, to analyze the Composition of Architecture Groups. This section described the research methods.In this paper we used a lot of cases which can support theory, and from the cases we can get Systems Methodology. While designers face the missions, they have convenient operations and powerful theory to support so that they can get more comprehensive and greater various perspectives to think.
