Research On The Development Of Engineers' Innovation Capabilities

Innovation is the soul of national progress. During the progress of the building of an innovation-oriented country and innovation-oriented enterprises, the production, distribution and use of knowledge and information have become important factors of production and a key factor in economic growth, and human resources have taken place of material resources to become the first resource. Meanwhile, our country is facing a critical shortage of innovative engineers, weak sense of developing innovative engineers' capability, the problem of a rigid mechanism to cultivate. With the characteristics of engineers and the internal & external factors as a research line for the study, this article mainly focuses on the development of engineers' innovation capability.Bases on human resources theory, innovation theory, principles of adult education, this article expounds the definition of engineers' innovation capacities, reveals the relationship between the three foundations of the study—the desire and motivation of innovation, individual quality and the innovation environment, and tries to build an integrated innovation view of engineers' development.The whole content includes four chapters:Chapter one gives an introduction. It mainly introduces the background to the study, the significance of research and research methods, and gives detail definition of "Engineering", "Engineers" and etc.Chapter two focus on the theories for the research. Through explaining the innovation theories, the thesis determines the dimension of the development of engineers' innovation capacities, and finally results in the implement principle for enterprises.Chapter three is mainly about the results of the analysis of the status quo of the development of engineers' innovation capacities in S Motor Group. Through the questionnaire survey and individual interview of some engineers and administration staff, the article reveals the current situation and problems of the development of engineers' innovation capacities in S Motor Group, and provides the basis for the development of innovative capabilities.Chapter four is some thoughts about the issues. According to the innovation theories and the own characteristics of engineers, focusing on the current situation of the cultivation of engineers' innovation capacities, the thesis develops an in-depth consideration of the problems from two dimensions of organizations and individuals and separately puts forward constructive proposals from both sides.
