Faced with China’s new normal situation,our government puts forward the strategy of innovation-driven development,which brings opportunities and challenges to all industries.All industries should strengthen their innovation abilities,replace old growth drivers with new ones at a faster pace and accelerate the transformation from resource-driven to innovation-driven.As a pillar industry in China,the construction industry plays an important role in the development of national economy,but it has the characteristics of extensive development mode,poor innovation ability,high energy consumption and high pollution.In the face of innovation-driven and sustainable development requirements,Construction industry should actively promote industrial reform and accelerate industrial transformation.As the micro-main body of technological innovation and industrial transformation,strengthening technological innovation has become the key to the current development of the construction enterprises.Through the analysis of the current situation of innovation activities in China’s construction industry,it is found that in practice,the participation of technological innovation development in construction industry is low,the initiative is poor,but it has the potential for development.Relevant research,.at this stage,most of the research on innovation is focused on manufacturing industry,and the research on technological innovation of construction industry in China is insufficient.It is rare to explain the innovation process of construction enterprises by empirical methods.In addition,innovation includes not only the process of research and development of new products and technologies,but also the process of market-oriented value creation of new inventions.However,the latter is often overlooked by researchers,which leads to incomplete research on innovation.This thesis takes construction enterprises as the research object and uses CDM model to explore the whole process of technological innovation activities of construction enterprises in China.On the basis of previous studies and the characteristics of the construction industry,this thesis establishes a model suitable for the study of innovation activities of construction enterprises in China and makes an empirical analysis with listed construction enterprises as samples.By exploring the influence of different factors on the technological innovation activities of construction enterprises in the process from innovation input to output and then to the final output of enterprises,this paper provides a theoretical basis for strengthening the level of technological innovation and the future strategic choice of construction enterprises in the future;at the same time,it helps to enhance the competitiveness of enterprises so that they can better implement the national development strategy and cope with the fierce competition and challenges.The results show that the innovation input of construction enterprises can promote the innovation output,and the innovation output can promote the final output of enterprises;government support is positively correlated with the innovation input and output of enterprises;the scale of enterprises has a positive impact on the innovation input and the final output of enterprises;the quality of labor force has a positive effect on the innovation input;and the capital structure of enterprises has a negative impact on technological innovation investment.At the same time,the empirical results are discussed and analysed.Finally,the inadequacies existing in this thesis are discussed,and further research directions are proposed.
