Research shows that building a cohesive student life community represents a high-level concept of college education and is directly related to the university’s educational achievements on students.Since the reform of China’s education system in 1999,with the expansion of universities,the construction of the university campus has been paid more and more attention.As the important learning and living place for college students,the living environment of the student community has been improved,but there’s still not enough attention.However,due to the differences of national conditions and regions,the outstanding ideas and design practices of foreign countries cannot be grafted directly into the construction of student life community in our country.Based on the concept of community construction,this paper analyzes the relevant research results of foreign college student communities,and summarizes the implications of the theory of implicitness and appearance.By analyzing the excellent cases abroad,it also summarizes the methods and strategies that can be used for reference in the construction of student life community in our country.Taking the living quarter of Dongfeng Road Campus of Zhengzhou University of Light Industry as a sample,this paper analyzes the current situation of student living environment in the community(including "public"(public environment),"public" "private "(dormitory)section)by means of literature analysis,field survey,interview survey,KJ analysis,comparative analysis and other analytical methods.Besides,students’ assessment and needs of the current state of the environment are analyzed on the basis of living and learning.Based on the above research results,it is proposed that the design and positioning of student life community should meet the needs of all students as much as possible,embody the conception of appropriate for living,transportation and reparation in order to create a living Environment with students’ strong sense of belonging.Specific design strategies are put forward on this basis.Finally,taking this as a guide,this paper puts forward the plan of environmental improvement and community construction based on the status quo of living area of the sample and students’ living reality. |
