Research On The Methodology Of Space Design For Open Community

In the current urban environment,the traditional enclosed residential area which is rather common has caused a series social and environmental negative effects,such as the regional function monotonicity,traffic congestion and inefficiency,etc..Based on the specific problems of the development of the urban area,a new mixed-function open community mode has been proposed in this paper to handle the problems above.This paper mainly analyzes the development direction of the urban planning in the future,the advantages of the open community development mode and the public space construction of the open community.The following aspects of the open community will be discussed in-depth,such as the functional layout,the boundary construction,the road structure,the spatial hierarchy,the space of the public activities and the remolding of the characteristics.Through generalizations of the domestic and foreign related theories in the development of community planning concept,the practice of community based on the development research in the foreign countries and the analyze to the existing open community in China,how to transfer the large-scale closed residential area to open communities and the planning principles of the new residential community will be proposed.Finally,take a community in Hongkou District of Shanghai as an example to applies the design principles of open community,and shows the specific design methods for open community construction.
