Analysis And Research On Crisis Management In Construction Projects

After the precipitate battle with SARS,the people began paying attention to the national lash-up system,studying and searching for theories and means to such problems. crisis management is recognized by all the society ,and becomes popular. The construction project is mainly about construction-process, which is important for the nation, and also is the important part of construction industry. The characteristic of the construction production decides more unstable factors of the construction project,which will be the primer to the future crisis. Crisis management is needed in the manufacturing course,and is the indispensable part of the national lash-up system.Crisis management is a new field in the management science. The research on it is still at the developing stage both in China and the abroad. Consequently, there are many different opinions on the basic concepts, fundamental methods and techniques. Some statements about certain concepts are even contradictory, which lead to problems to the implementation of crisis management for construction project organization to some extend.This paper defined the construction project–crisis with the project'characteristic on the basis of analyzing the crisis from the view of system .On this basis, this paper brought forward the definition of construction project crisis management, set up the construction project crisis management group, and analyzed the course of construction project crisis management, then studied deeply on the special content of construction project crisis management. Finally this paper analyzed a real case, which was a real diagnosis approach and putted forward some strategies of implementing crisis management in construction project.
