| Under the conditions that the suburbanization and the urbanization develop rapidly, urban fringe area has been an area that continues developing, proliferating and spreading in Chinese big cities. It change fast and has lots of sensitive problems. Cities accumulate more and more people different place, and the governments have to construct apartments through exploiting new residential district around the fringes area of the city. Residential districts construction in the fringes of Tianjin city is faced with great opportunities, which never happened before. However, in the process of residential districts construction in fringes, a series of problems appear which shouldn't be neglected.This thesis initiates to chased own problems existing in the development of housings on urban fringe area nowadays, based on the concept of urban fringe residential district, its background and feature analysis, by investigating the project—Liyuan residential district which locate on fringe area of Tianjin City. Whereafter, this thesis analyses the major factors of residential district which comprise inhabitants, roads and streets, buildings and environment. Though summarizing some relevant theories and practical experiences about foreign residential district development, introducing urban design to the planning, author does hope some efficient mechanism could be established on urban fringe area of which can combine the four factors organically. |
