Electromagnetic relay is an electric component which can be used widely, there are thousands of factories that produce various relays in China. The study on the reliability of relays have been one of the most important factors which determine whether the enterprise would succeed in competition. Accordingly its reliability becomes more and more important and reliability research and reliability design become one of significant step of the manufacture development.In the field of relay operation reliability, besides the research of its reliability indexes and its test scheme, more and more researchers have paid attention to the research about the system of relay testing with multifunction, high reliability and complete automatization. The system being provided for more and more factories and testing institutions that could make progress in the work of reliability researches and provide factories with advantageous methods which improves the quality and reliability of relays.In consideration of the need of factories, author developed the testing system that could not only be managed remotely but also make local-test, on the bases of realizing the general situation of methods and apparatuses of relay testing. The paper analyzed the normal methods of EET and normal technique of testing systems, proposed a novel design, added new functions compared with conventional systems, improved on the hardware and optimized the software of testing systems.The paper gives a detailed presentation of the design scheme of the novel system, the main hardware of system and the theory of important circuit modules. By use of the design technique of mixed programming between assembly language and VC++ Language, the system on the one hand created the friendly interface, on the other hand enhanced the controlling capability of itself. The paper expatiates on the theory and realization of every function modules of software. Adopting the technique of software timer, the software contents the need of operation continually of relays. Developing the programs based on API, it is realized that the electric endurance test is managed remotely by serve. At last, through an example, the paper proves that the design of the system is feasible and the test results from the system is credible, and analyzes the aspects that affected the error of the system.The realization of the novel system, develops the fields of the network technique, and indicates that the technique of low power electric apparatuses'reliability testing had entered a new age.
