Power latching retaining relay as the national grid company information collection system prepaid meter of execution units.It is the power users of smart meter core components of early warning,trip blackouts,closing restoration reminder fee and other remote control.Thus the power latching relays directly determines the reliability of the reliability of smart meters,However,the reliability of its integrated relay parameters are closely related.Based on the design of relay life test system for electric energy meter,taking the relay of typical electric energy meter as the research object,and supplemented by reliability prediction and high temperature aging test,a complete life test of relay for electric energy meter is put forward.Firstly,the comprehensive parameter testing method of relay at home and abroad is synthetically analyzed,and the relay life test system for the electric energy meter is designed and designed independently,and the comprehensive parameter test of the power and magnetic relay relay is realized.The life test system can be used not only latching relay manufacturers comprehensive parametric testing relays,magnetic relays can also be used to check or repair a sample user unit latching relay.Secondly,the testing system consists of three parts: the conditioning circuit,data acquisition circuit,and man-machine interface components.The conditioning circuit use MCU C8051F020 as a controller for precise control of the relay action,and the test of the relay coil voltage,contact current,contact voltage and contact voltage drop etc.The data acquisition circuit use MCU LPC2292 and FPGA as a control unit to achieve a 6-channel and 12 bits and 250 kHz Synchronous Data Acquisition.Using touch screen as man-machine interface components to display comprehensive parameter and set test parameter.Thirdly,the software program and system program of each module are developed,and the test data is analyzed.Finally,the life test system is used to make normal temperature test and high temperature aging test for various relays.The experimental results are compared with the reliability prediction,and the difference is obtained.And it realized the adjustable relay coil voltage from 0 to 15 Volt,and the contact open circuit voltage 24 V,and contact resistance test current from 0.1 A to 10 A.This life test system can test operating voltage,release voltage,coil resistance,operating time,release time,overrun time,bounce time,bounce times,contact resistance and other parameters of magnetic latching relay.This study can provide the experimental basis for improving the electrical life and reliability of the watt-hour meter relays,and the research methods can also be extended to the design of general relays and even switchgear.
