The Reshearch Of Architecture Slit Space

When we talk about the architecture slit space, it always be described as an adjective of the space. That is, we call the narrow and long space as slit space. So how long and narrow space is the slit space? How to definite the slit space? What is the characteristics of it? These are the issues of this paper.The definition of slit space of this paper is set on the base of space-shape, it is a novel entry point in space research method, at the same time, this article classificate the slit space into two levels:"The slit space accommodate the activities of people"and"The slit space which as a shape". Then discuss their forms, characteristics and the principles in the architectural design of application separatly.This paper mainly through five chapters three parts to discuss the slit space:Part I: including chapter I, chapter II, the main contents are the definition and the classification of the slit space and its performances in history buildings and its generant reasons.Part II: including chapter III, chapter IV, on the basis of classification of the slit space, it discuss the performance of shape of the slit space with a large number of examples.Part III: The paper's last chapter, it discuss the"The slit space accommodate the activities of people"and"The slit space which as a shape"principles of people's perception about space, and then put forward the principles how to use of the slit space in architectural design.
