To satisfy the urgent demand of railway container transport, China railway plans to build eleven transport channels for double-stack container car. Railway ministry prepared to speed the double-stack container car up to 120km/h, and heighten the center height of gravity for double-stack container car loaded to 2400mm. The deviation of container and cargo gravity center is a key security factor of the double-stack container car. It is necessary to study the effects of loading and running conditions on the security running of double-stack container car and to determine the security standard of double-stack container car with the deviation of container and cargo gravity center.Based on analyzing the security factors and the running security indices of double-stack container car, the theoretical model of double-stack container car is set up. The single-vehicle and four-vehicle double-stack container car dynamics models are established based on SIMPACK, then the validity of the model is tested. By using these models, this paper studies the influence of deviation of container and cargo gravity center, running speed and center height of gravity for car loaded on the security running of double-stack container car. At last, the paper presents the security standard of the double stack container car with deviation of container and cargo gravity center.
