From 1999, China's universities having expanded enrollment, higher education has entered a rapid development period. Faced with this situation, Original Service facilities in the universities have been shown shortage, especially the food service center, which provide food for the college students, built many years ago and had a low construction standard, are unable to meet the needs of the students. Therefore, to accelerate the construction of catering college students become the trend of the times.This paper introduced the "College Food Service Center", to replace the traditional "college canteen," striving to more closely reflect of the new architectural features of this type of architecture. This paper mainly discusses the development, planning and architectural design of the college food services center; take the universities' canteens in shanghai as the main targets of investigation and research; by analyzing the practical information, make a comprehensive analysis on the various factors affecting the update of college canteens; combining contemporary college students behavior characteristics and needs, propose the major problem and phenomena in the construction of this type of architectural; analysis the planning, space form, appearance, environment facilities of the food service center; propose some solutions for some specifics issues; finally, raise the trend of the development of the food service center in a macro perspective. |
