The planning and design of the canteen is more and more attention, but its interior space physical environment has not been the attention of the researchers. With the increase of college canteen area scale, the dining space is more and more big, the area of the space environment quality is more difficult to ascend, the physical environment problems are more obvious. Building structure and materials related to building physical environment and ecosystem of the space itself is equally important and relevant in the design, the design of college dining room building, pay attention to the details of the related physical environment control design, and some simple passive building design strategy consideration will make building in energy saving and comfort of indoor physical environment to achieve twice the result with half the effort effect.This paper aimed at the status and the physical environment of the university cafeteria dining space design strategy was studied by means of theoretical and field data, based on the common college canteens architectural theory and case studies to understand the space design characteristics and space physical environmental characteristics; And dining halls in colleges and universities in Beijing area as an example, the practical research on some college canteen restaurant, subjective questionnaire survey was carried out on the diner, and to related physical environment data field tests of restaurant, and then in accordance with the relevant standards to make analysis of evaluation; According to the physical environment of the university cafeteria problem, research analysis of various factors and the relationship between the physical environment, building and relevant details of the design space physics environment, resulting in relatively good design strategy for building physical environment comfort, for later related design to provide some of the more reliable theory basis.
