This paper believes that there is a relation of "figure" and "ground" in any scenic area. "Figure" refers to the "visible form" accessible to our naked eyes; while "ground" refers to the "complex background" available for people's sense, perceive, involvement and consideration. When these two aspects are integrated, the site, which represents a combination of special shape and cultural meaning, is created.By researching the site of the scenic area, this passage aims to find out how to plan and design the site in a general sense and then adopt some concrete measures to reinforce the drawings in various environments. Besides the paper hopes to establish a practical and referable the " Graph Designing Language" Path, under whose guidance the sites in scenic areas can develop into an organic body which features self-maintenance, self-development, and is more elastic and flexible.The paper is completed though the following ways:1. Deductive ResearchBy means of the description of historical and cultural background, this paper analyzes the cultural meaning and the form of the sites in scenic site to assist the research.2. Case AnalyzingOn the basis of deductive research, this paper chooses some cases of the site-building to analyze them and sum up their success or failure as well as their lessons.3. Induction and ArrangementStudy the "Graph Analysis" by first-hand materials and sum up a way or a universal approach to plan and design the site of scenic areas.4. Practice and ExplorationCheck and prove the result of this research through case-analyzing. The paper plans to put the result achievement into practice and expects to further perfect it in practice.
