This thesis uses advanced CAD/CAE software Pro/Engineer,ADAMS and ANSYS/LS-DYNA to build the integrated system based on theory of Dynamics of Multibody System for the purpose of resolving the engineering problems of General Retarder design, and analyses the performances of Closed Differential CVT. The emulational results of Closed Differential CVT displaied the working condition in practice.This method is very useful for the practical design.The main points of the thesis are listed below:1.Bulid CAD/CAE integration Virtual Prototype emulate analyse environment of Closed Differential CVT. On this base, the 3D solid model of Closed Differential CVT has built up.2.The rigid-body Virtual Prototype model has built up on dynamics machinery emulate analyse environment。The planet cone pulley and imput axis model of flex-body has built up according to the modal analysis theory and finite element, then the model of flex-body and rigid-body couple has built up.3.Split the analysis of dynamics of machinery with the model of rigid-body coupl and the model of flex-body and rigid-body couple. Comparing the results of flex-body model with those of rigid-body model, such as the flucation at the start working time, the contact force and friction force of transmission component, and the change cases, the conclusion of the model of flex-body and rigid-body couple in mechanically-driven complete appliance smoothness,fluctuate micoscal is obtained, and then forecasted the mechanical behavioue of complete appliance .4.3D solid model has succefully imported to CAE soft ANSYS/LS-DYNA to build three-dimensional finite element model according to practical situation, boundary treatment,loading and dynamic modeling of Mechanically-driven process. We have the relationship stress and strain of friction dish with time.And the influence of coefficient of friction and friction angle to stress. The results provide reliable digital basis for further research of friction dish working performance.5.Introduce the thought of durability analysis, analysis with part of the imput axis flex-body in running procedural, the conclusion of mean stress and maximum occur position is obtained, all those things provided a basis for further research.The paper applying the system analysis circumstance of CAD/CAE soft Pro/Engineer,ADAMS and ANSYS/LS-DYNA to carry on the dynamic research, it has reference value for the researchs of similar equipment.
