It is several dozens years history for our country about fan's study and widespread application in the Industry sector, at present the fan is widely applied in coal mine ventilation, it is image named "the lung of mine". The security and reliable of fan relateses workers'safety and regular production of mine directly. In recent years, mineral main fan still had had massive accidents on wheel hubs and wheel disk dehiscence and so on when works arouses the widespread interest of fan-domain. This article in view of a mineral main fan of a coal-mine, constructing anatomic model using Pro/Engineer which is a three dimensional modelling software, carries on the finite element analysis and the modal analysis using ANSYS which is finite element analysis software to it, thus establishes various parts of stress distribution resonance and oscillation dynamic characteristic in the rotor, proposed the plan that optimizing rotor structure and reducing the material amount under the premise guarantees the structure rigidity and intensity.Firstly, according to the condition which this research provides, we obtain the analysis size parameter of object through the surveying and consulting handbook, takes 1/16 of the entire impeller structure. Then using the formidable modelling function of Pro/Engineer, Modelling to each components in the impeller structure, useing the assembly function of Pro/Engineer to assemble the component of impeller to be a unit, realizing that the establishment of impeller-model fast and precisely. Then, we make the impeller-model the essential simplification, inputing the model to ANSYS with the data conversion function between Pro/Engineer and ANSYS.Next, in ANSYS, we can get statical analysis result by the way of definiting unit type, divising grid, loading as well as soluting. We can obtain dangerous spot of hub through examinatiing stress-cloud-chart and distortion-cloud-chart of hub, carries on the improving design to the dangerous section and the redundant structure spot, achieves double objects both saving the material and guaranteeing structural strength, realizes safe, economy, reasonable design of hub. Finally, carring on the modal analysis to the impeller, we obtain mode of vibration distortion chart of hub and vibrational frequency and the distortion situation through the vibration-distortion chart of hub. It provides the theory basis in order to avoid base-frequency of hub and the impeller rotational-frequency integral multiple superposition.In summary, the goal of this topic is seeking for one new method of research impeller structural property,it provides one new way and a reference for ventilator rotor design and the research later.
