Parametric Design Of Lift Sliding Stereo Garage Based On Pro/Engineer

Nowadays, parametric design method is playing a more and more important role in mechanical design. Traditional mechanical design relied on manpower to complete the drawing, it’s a cumbersome process. So parametric design method become popular quickly when it appeared, because it can reduce massive repetitive work for users. Designers got lots benefits from this, such as the improvement of work efficiency and work quality.In morden society, stereo garage is used more and more widely, so there are more and more related manufacturing enterprise, to stand out from these companies, one stereo garege company must improve the efficiency of design to meet the various market demands. In order to resolve this problem, in this topic, took Pro/Engineer as the platform, and Pro/Toolkit as the tool of secondary development, Visual Studio 2008 as the integrated development environment, in associated with MFC dialog technology and SQL Server 2005 database management technology, built an effective parametric design system of stereo garage based on Pro/Engineer, to relize effective and economic design of stereo garage. The main research contents are as follows:(1) Discussed the the purpose and significance of this topic, development situation of CAD technology and Pro/E secondary development, and main content of this study. Based on this, determined the main research area and research roadmap of this topic;(2) After analysed and compared the model of stereo garege on the market, and combined with actural demand of partnership enterprise, lift sliding stereo garage is chosen as the object of this study. Then, introduced the design process, force analysis process and finite element analysis procedure of its mechanical parts. Through this process, hadan anintuitive understanding of the design process of stereo garage, laid the foundation for parametric design;(3) In Pro/E environment, established the three dimensional parametric model of stereo garage by parametric modeling method, and founded the menu resource file, user interface resource file and main program of stereo garage parametric design system. Elaborsted how to access database with ADO technology in Pro/E environment, established spare parts and assembly database by using SQL Server database management system;(4) Founded parametric design system of stereo garage, and tested the system by designing typical spare parts;(5) Conducted finite element analysis to assembly designed by this system, such as car carrier. And found the position where maximum stress and maximum strainoccurred, to see whether it matched the design requirement, if not, continue optimized the design.
