Technology And System Of The Remote Sensing Monitor The Oil Spill In The BoHai Sea Area

Oil spill is a serious disaster for the sea environment and many spill accidents happen in our country seas every year. These accidents had bad effects on the developing the economic. The technology of remote sensing is mainly utilized for the monitoring the disaster and dealing with the pollution by the in-country and overseas goverments.This paper presents the state of the art for oil spill detection in the world oceans, and analyses the principle and instruments for the monitoring the oil spill in the sea. From the characteristic of the airborne sensors, the land and ship boarded ship' radar and the Spaceborne sensors, we know that the satellite remote sensing hold the special characteristics of the big scope, all-day and all-weather, and the easy to receiving and analyzing images, but there is no systematic and mature method in the whole world wide now. The BoHai sea area will have the trend to occur big oil spill, so the integration system is seted up for monitoring the Bohai sea area's oil spill based on the all kinds of the remote sensing flat and related maritime office. The system can be used when the oil spill have happened and during the oil being cleaned up, in this time it can choose the best satelites and the best channels of the satellite to detect the oil. It can remove the look-like areas based on the images date-base and confirm the position and area of the spill oil instantly. After the oil spill happens, it can predict the behavior of the oil spill movement and spreading as the modles ,in this way the alarm can be reported as soon as possiblely; those works can be provided the important information for the maritime offices's emergency response .
