Use the public transit resources effectively and vigorously develop the public transit is an effective way for resolving the municipal transportation problem in today's China. However, the rail transit and conventional public transit which are regarded as the main transit forms of the city, the poor coordination of them is a basic reason of why the public transit resources have not obtained a highly effective use. The rail transit has a large transportation amount, fast and pollutes slightly; the conventional public transit has a nimbly wiring system as well as convenient. Therefore, in order to make a fully use of the municipal public transportation, it needs us to unify the rail transportation and conventional public transportation's characteristic effectively, enhance their strong points and avoid weaknesses as well as coordinate their organization effectively.This paper based on a system analysis of the rail transit and conventional public transit, as well as guided by an aim to develop an integrated transportation, so the key point of this paper is researching an efficient way to coordinate the rail transit and conventional public transit. Firstly, we carry out a summary of the theory and practice for the coordination of the rail transit and conventional public transit in and out of China; Secondly, we analysis the technical economic characteristic and function localization of the rail transit and conventional public transit, then, it gives the connotation and character of the coordination between the rail transit and conventional public transit with the coordination theory, so this section launches the research from this two aspects: wire system and hinge.Wire organization: mainly analyze the significance of the wire adjustment and construct a Journey-time model by using the Behavior time value theory; and then, carry out a definition and computation of the Distance to boundary, thus to instruct the wire adjustment and planning by using the operation result.Hinge: mainly analyze the status and function of transportation transfer, and so as the problem of link-up, at last propose a method to improve the public transportation dispatch by using ITS.Finally, this paper construct an appraisement index system of the...
