Development Of Design System Of Long Belt Conveyor

With the development of large-scale belt conveyors, it's mostly requested that howto design a conveyor. In domestic design, the standard of GB/T17119-1997 is adopted,which follows the international standard of ISO5048.According to the standard, theminitype belt conveyors can be designed suitably, but for the large-scale belt conveyors,the design result is inaccurate. In the paper the advanced standard of CEMA is applied todiscuss the belt conveyors', and offer the corresponding formulas, figures and tables. Onthe basis of these, a suit of design software is developed. Through the validation of threeexamples, the design results all accords with facts, so the software is proved valuable.
