| Belt conveyors are the major equipments of bulk solids handing.They are mainly used in metallurgy, mining, coal,power plant, port and industrial enterprises.With the development of large-scale belt conveyor, the design methods also change ceaselessly. For the large numbers of conveyor parts and the enormous calculation process when designing a conveyor, traditional design method calls a long design cycle,and couldn't meet our demands,so CAD must be applied to conveyor design to improve design efficiency.This paper compares the similarities and differences between CEMA and DIN22101,analyzes the design flow of CEMA and builds the structural arithmetic for software compiling.Using Visual Basic 6.0 as the programme tool to compile the general belt conveyor design software,and validating the result correctness of software through software testing and practical project applications.In order to give facilities for users in the parts choosed and parameters inputed,this software makes the data input interface link with the conveyor data-base system.Using interpolation way and iterant way, the calculation system could calculate the accurate value of roller bend resistance coefficient when materials and belts passing.Using VBA to compile exporting report forms function to export report forms in the form of Excel.With this function,the users could anaphase disposal the calculation results. With the enactment of simulate friction coefficient revise,the software could calculate the equival simulate friction coefficient.And with the temperature technique of temperature revise coefficient, the software could calculate power and tension according to the simulate friction coefficient imported.This paper uses the software as calculation tool to study the relation between bend resistance coefficient and simulation friction coefficient of German DIN22101 Standard,and uses CEMA method to calculate the revise value of simulate friction coefficient in low temperature to solve the issue of choosing simulation friction coefficient of German DIN22101 Standard in low temperature. With studying the change of enginery consume rate in differents belt speed and fill rate through two examples,this paper validates that reducing the belt speed when actual capacity unders the rated capacity and enhancing the fill rate when actual capacity exceeds the rated capacity could save energy. |
