This article commences with automobile advertisement, it analyzes the transmitting course of automobile design symbol from two points of view: general point of unscrambling the shape of car design and the point that advertisement is involved. And it tries to figure out the outline of design meaning transmitting course, it discusses the transition of design symbol in essential characteristic, working mechanism, semantics.From the point that advertisement gets involved in the course of design meaning transition, it is a focal point of the article to analyze the semeiology of the transition of meaning, and carries on theoretical analyzing to the course of meaning transiting. The article has analyzed, from different angles and aspect, the course that transits the meaning of automobile design. Through above-mentioned analysis, the thesis has summarized and summed up a series of hinting charts, and try to pictorialize the course of unscrambling. This could make designers have a deeper understanding of semeiology and design meaning, and let them use these materials for reference during the process of designing practice. Meanwhile, hope to enable consumers to have an objective understanding to the view delineated by car advertisement through this way, and prevent impetuous consumption at a certain degree.
