Research On Quality Management System Of Chongqing Shipyard And Its Establishment

Quality Management System, which is one of the advanced management technologies based on the popular eight principles for quality management, means the management system for quality command and control organization. The increasingly rapid growth of global ship industry, which is brought about by the high-speed development of global economy, causes ship industry to inevitably establish and implement quality management system. Meanwhile, how to establish quality management system is one of the problems need to thought and solved immediately in ship industry. Therefore, studying quality management system for shipyard is significant to improve quality of ship manufacturing, to strengthen market competition of shipyard, and to ensure ship safe.Aiming at the characters of Chongqing ship industry, and considering the existing condition and related demands of Chongqing shipyard, the quality management system of Chongqing shipyard has been established and implemented. Firstly, the basic theories of quality management system, which include eight principles for quality management and ISO9000 evolved, have been studied. The existing certification of quality management system standard is introduced, its application is analyzed, and the mode of quality management system based on processes is presented.Secondly, the quality management system for Chongqing shipyard has been established based on the theories mentioned above, which includes management responsibility, resource management, product realizing, monitoring, measurement, and improvement. Some main content has been presented including organizational structure, function distribution, process reorganization, management responsibility, resource management, ship manufacturing, ship detection, and so on.Thirdly, the important factors has been discussed in the process of implementing quality management system for Chongqing shipyard, which include training, the revision of quality goal, process reorganization, introduction of quality-cost theory, sustainable improvement, and perfection of self-assessment mechanism.Finally, the data change condition of main production factors has been analyzed after implementing quality management system of Chongqing shipyard. Meanwhile, the five-factor effect achieved has been presented.
