Contemporary Manufacturing System is developing towards network.digitalization, intelligentization and virtualization. Virtual Manufacturing(VM), as the continuous research focus since it is put forward in academe and business circles, is regarded as one of the trends of advanced manufacturing in new century. By the research and application on the VM key technologies, enterprises will win market competition with shorter time, higher quality, lower cost and better service, which makes the study on VM has important theoretical and practical significance.Considering the actuality of shipbuilding in China the dissertation gives a frame of Ship Virtual Manufacturing System and discusses the important modules and the key technologies on the base of analysis about the concept of VM, characteristic of VM and general situation of research domestic and overseas. Considering the Shipbuilding Industry should response to the market quickly, the dissertation puts forward the model of virtual shipyard by the study of virtual enterprise by analysis to the characteristic of VM.Ship Virtual Manufacturing consists of several cell technologies. The dissertation gives the following two cell technologies:· In order to increase the design efficiency of ship piping, the dissertation accomplishes Secondary Development on Solidworks software platform by Virtual C++.That is to say,it realizes the menu appending, the display of user dialog box and parameter design of ship piping.· The dissertation disposes the engine room by Genetic Arithmetic and Three-Dimensional design. First it sets up the mathematic model of the engine room, then optimizes the disposition of key equipments by Genetic Arithmetic, in the end.dispose the equipments Three-Dimensionally on Solidworks softwear platform.
