This thesis introduced the development actuality of CAD software, and indicated the weightiness of this research project; Stated all types develop methods and that function and application range themselves.In this thesis, detailed described the key technology of develop SolidWorks API' s application by Visual C++ or VB based on Windows , analyzed function , usage and meaning of common functions, and provided created process and program arithmetic of application frame, dialog box, menu and common features.This thesis should be a good reference data for technicians who are developing application based on SolidWorks.The project has been done for universities or factories, which is a special designing, that students or engineering designers can use it to complete modeling easily when they don't understand SolidWorks well.This thesis realized system of plate cam' s modeling and analysis, provided the method of curved surface' s modeling.
