The Research Of Responding Design For Architecture Space

This thesis is an approach to the practice of responding building, which based on the theory of the responding design of architecture space.Nowadays, tremendous changes has been taken place in two way which closely related to the design and development of the architecture: One is the rapid deterioration of the entironment, the other is people's higher requirement in the information society towards both the material and the spirit function of the architecture. Architecture, as the medium connect both human beings and the nature though the communication of material, energy and information, are facing a severe challenge in how to catch up with the pace of society in the new century. This article made a deeply approach to the study of the responding design, aiming at a wide popularity in the whole architecture industry. By the application of it, we can create an ecological, energy-saving and changeable dwelling space and promote a sustainable development among people, architecture, nature and society.To begin with, in the theory phase, the author induce 5 ways to conduct the responding design though the combination relationship of the surface layer of the structure and the deeper layer of the structure: the interface responding design of the architecture space; shape responding design of the architecture space, cubage responding design of the architecture space, structure responding design of the architecture space, combination responding design of the architecture space. Then, by listing a mass of the examples of the design, the author illustrate the method of the responding design and discuss the material, spirit function and the aesthetic value of the architecture. In the end, the author made some attempt in dwelling architect with the method mentioned above to test and experience the practical meaning of the responding design.
