A Study On The Function Evolution And Sustainable Development Of Historical Cultural Blocks During The Process Of City Development

The historical and cultural block is the precious heritage of human society with long-term accumulation,reflecting the city development process.As the important carrier of urban history and cultural inheritance,it plays an irrplaceable role in modern city constructing.In recent years,the development of historical and cultural blocks developing trend constantly spread throughout China.Meanwhile how to fully tap the economic and cultural value and realize the sustainable development of blocks during urban development process has become a concerning issue."Old Street Kunming" historical and cultural block is an important part of the historical and cultural city of Kunming,and is the only cultural district in Kunming city that remains complete and reflects the historical features of Kunming.The block carries many functions,which evolving with the development of the city and accumulating rich and unique urban culture of Kunming during the development process.The cultural function of "Old Street Kunming" in the urban development of Kunming is gradually increasing.As for the protection and development of "Old Street Kunming",the block experienced the process from protection period by the government as the leading stage to enterprise protection development.In this process the block began showing a new look.The ultimate goal of historical and cultural blocks development is to realize the development of blocks.The key point is that how to promote the functional reconstruction and sustainable development of "O1d Street Kunming",but also realize the transformation and development of the city.This paper based on the analysis of"Old Street Kunming" function in the process of city development evolution,attempting to analysis the idea of sustainable development of "O1d Street Kunming",which combined with the current situation of the protection and development of the block and some of the conflict.
