Study On The Urban Design For High-Tech Industrial Development Zone By The Fringe Area Of Big City

It is an phenomenon of construction to the high-tech industrial development zone by the fringe area of big city which occurs at the special stage and has unique cultural and spiritual connotation. It is the new increased point of economy. At present, there are some study most of which is based on the policy and evaluation and locality.The thesis emphasizes urban design for the zone which can make up the deficiency of macroscopic lay. In this thesis, the subject is historic and cultural city, like the case of Xi'an city, which may offer important meaning to other zones.The thesis indicates the existed problems of urban design by analyzing background and actuality for high-tech industrial development zone along the fringe area of big city. In order to sum up the principia of urban design, the thesis study the main factors: the historic features of big city and the characters of key elements of zone, which is based on the theories of city image and technologic innovation and convergence and diffusion. At last, the thesis researches on the urban design's contents, smooth traffic system and pleasant communication space and flexibility etc included, which aims at shaping attractive and characteristic environment of city space with all kinds of features and needs.The research can not only suggest that urban design is one of the best ways in which can resolve the problem that the zone is lack of identities and characters but also provide some advices for other zones, which adapts to the humanistic trend of subject of urban planning.
