For the good-sized conveyor belts, the higher the intensity of the belt is, the larger the diameter of the demanded drum is. Then modeling, carving up the net, analyzing the stress with the finite element method and finding the focus points of the stress and rebuilding the structure, so that we can design a reasonable drum under the force. According to some information, during designing the routine product, the time using to plotting is the half of the total time. In order to enhance the design efficiency, the paper is basedon AutoCAD2000 and uses the oriented-object design technology in ObjectARX2000 and Visual C++6. 0. Finally, it makes the automatic drawing of the fitting draw and part draw in computer come true.
