As one of four basic systems in perfecting project management reform, construction management becomes more and more important as for heightening project quality and induce project cost. Especially following the action of the LAW of CONSTRUCTION ,how to regulate the progress of Construction management is vital to the project quality and Construction cost. In the thesis the standardization of construction management is studied, which is based on the development of project management in China.The main conclusion in this thesis can be expressed as following.1.The chief-supervisor is the key to the standardization of project construction management and construction management enterprises.2.Organization of construction management enterprises is expressed.3. Management and administration of construction management enterprises is expressed. Include the popular band's benefit of the chief-supervisor.4. Management of personnel of construction management enterprises is expressed, especially state planning, examination, employment, cultivation and development of chief-supervisor.5. Management of quality of construction management enterprises is expressed, especially state the importance of the chief-supervisor to theISO9000 standards. The thesis is composed of seven chapters, and the content of eachchapter is abstracted here:1.ForewordThe chapter is divided into three paragraphs. In the first paragraph, the current development of construction management in China is expressed, and it is pointed that the practice of construction management is an important undergoing reform, wanted to be standardized and applied to science. In the second paragraph, the problems in construction management enterprises are listed:(1)randomness of project construction management;(2)the division of construction management inside the enterprises and management of site. Afterwards, the objectives and the meanings of the thesis are stated:(1)the practice of standardization of construction management is benefit to the improvement in systematizing, standardization and organization of construction management;(2)To improve the service of construction management.(3)To take the challenge with the entry to WTO. In the third paragraph, the content of the thesis is illustrated. Action regulations in construction management enterprises and analysis methods: Consider the chief-supervisor as the key to the standardization of project construction management and construction management enterprises, and then carry out the standardized system that internal work in construction management enterprises helps the work of site. In the other side, he work of site reflects the standardization of construction management enterprises.2. Characteristics of construction management enterprises andgeneralization of managementThere are two paragraphs in this chapter. In the first paragraph, the characteristics,are expressed. In the second paragraph, the functions, contents and methods of the management of construction management enterprises are extended. Construction management enterprises have several functions, including planning, organization and management. Thecontents of the management contain such elements:(1)management by regions and stages;(2)management by functions and specialties: management of technique, marketing, finance, personnel, and so on. (3) comprehensive and overall management:(a)overall planning management; (b)overall quality management;(c)overall financial accounting;(d)overall personnel management. There are five principles of management: (1)humanism; (2)optimum system;(3)dynamic adjusting and elasticity;(4)completion and intact; (S)energy-extensive and initiative.The methods of management: (1 )administration (2)economics;(3)law;(4)inculcation;(5)mathematics;(6)social psychology.3.
