Although gear drive is a kind of traditional transmission mode, this transmission principle and mechanism still weeds through the old to bring forth the new constantly with the development of technology.According to the biaxial reciprocating gear-driven principle that presents by professor He guo jin in this thesis, the biaxial reciprocating cylinder gear reducer has been designed and interiorinput power of this reducer is forty watt. The reducer utilizes kinetic joint between duplex gearwheel and shaft, this part of shaft bears not torsional moment but bending moment. It means that only input shaft near the electromotor and output shaft near outside extend output port bear torsional moment, so rigidity of shaft is higher. Moreover, general reduction gear ratio changes according to rule of exponential function, so the more number of duplex gearwheel possesses on the shaft, the larger reduction gear ratio will be, the higher torsional moment will be transmitted. After finishing design, this thesis adopts an improved MDCP method for optimal design of the reciprocating gear reducer to make the reducer obtain minimal cubage and lightest weight in the case of meeting carrying capacity, speed-ratio, strength and rigidity. And then an improved fuzzy reliabilitydesign method is present in this paper for the fuzzy reliability analysis of components of the reciprocating cylinder gear reducer. The analysis result shows that all of components possess high reliability in normal operating life, so further testify the feasibility and the practicability of this gear-driven principle. Secondly, the research on the functions of this transmission device such as automatic gear shifting and multiple branch transmission shows that application of the transmission principle can simplify the structure and reduce the cubage. How the new transmission principle is applied in the other usual mechanical drive device will wait for farther research and exploitation.
