This paper ,based on the fuzzy reliability theory ,carried a fuzzy reliability analysis of the wheel loader system and the fuzzy reliability-optimization design of gearings in its wheel-side reducer.In this paper ,gave a brief survey of research condition and development trend on realiablity of mechanical system ,and theories and methods of realiability distribution are studied especially . By means of structure analysis of the wheel loader system , the model of system reliability distribution is established . Selection of reliability index of system is feasible and practical . The reliability distribution used the method in combination the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation and the conventional methods of reliability distribution , using fuzzy mathematical theory to consider the randomness and fuzzies of effectors in the design , thus enabling its solution more close to the practice . According to this distribution, the reliability of wheel loader system can get improvement.According to design requirements and the working condition , the reliability caculation model is established . By the combination of fuzzy reliability theory with optimization theory , a fuzzy reliability optimal mathematical model of gear transmission in wheel-side reducer is established . the method that the fuzzy optimal model is changed to ordinary optimal model by the optimal level cut sets is interpreted . As the model is a mathematical model of multi-objective optimization on minimizing volume and minimizing tooth width , the method that a multi-objective model transformed into a single-objective model is introduced. The optimization programe is designed .
