Research On Quality Management Of Construction Project Of University Experimental Building

Quality is the symbol of human civilization. Infrastructure in colleges and universities as the materialistic foundation for further development not only concerns the safety of faculties and students but also determines social influences. The construction of infrastructure is a process featured with large scale, long-term and multiple processes, the management of which is rather complex and sophisticated. Colleges and universities as the owner, are primarily responsible for the investment and construction of infrastructure program, the management of which continues as an essential part throughout the different phases of construction. Therefore how the owners take approaches in the infrastructure program is the key in guaranteeing its quality.The paper is mainly about how X university as the owner carries out quality management in the lab building construction program. The paper introduces existing questions in infrastructure construction program by studying background check. Then based on prevalent engineering program quality management theories from home and abroad, the paper explains the concepts, elements, basic principles in program quality management, and introduces the project profile and plan of lab building construction program in X university from the aspect of the owner, followed by concrete measures in improving quality taken by the university as the owner before, during and after the construction, i.e. column diagram and causal method are applied to different parts and sections during the construction for the purpose of quality management and control. In the end, the paper points out that the overall object of lab building construction program in X university was realized, the quality of the program was enhanced and the program has a certain reference value in engineering.
