Power transmission and distribution grid analysis platform is an important tool to improve the management level of transmission and distribution system. By the construction of power transmission and distribution grid analysis platforms, the dangers of accidents can be overcome, and the safety and reliability of power transmission and distribution process can be ensured. Previous power transmission and distribution grid analysis software exists such problems as single function, poor universality and to expand and maintain is difficult, so the development of an openness, expansibility and maintainability analysis platform has theoretical significance and practical value.Along with the gradual extension and use of CIM, the data model based on CIM has enough generality. This paper firstly analyzes and sums up the CIM, summarizes the modeling method by CIM and how to expand the CIM according to the actual application. Then the mapping method between the object model and relational database is present based on above foundation, and the CIM model is established in relational database SQL Server and real-time database FastDB. Developing an analysis and service platform for transmission and distribution network based on C/S architecture , Web Service and .NET Remoting are two typical program to build distributed application .In this text ,to introduce the Architecture and specific implementation of distributed application solution based Web Service and .NET Remoting, to compare and evaluate them, at last,.NET Remoting is adopted.Then the service interface is designed according to the CIS specification.According to the established model and method, the modeling of power transmission and distribution grid is carried on, and the prototype system is developed under the visual Studio 2008. Then the relevant client test procedures are redacted to verify the correctness of model and system design.
