With the development of reformation of the electric power system,the power plant must attach importance to combining resource of software and hardware in existence and realize the goal of communication share. The power plant in our country haven't resolve the problem of the integration of the management information and control information between MIS(Management Information System) and DCS(Distributed Control System) and it results in the separation of management and control. So it becomes more and more important to build the SIS(Supervisory Information System) in plant level.The real-time database is the most importance in the SIS. It shoulders the important task of collecting and storing data and offering the data for the performance modules of the SIS. So the realization of the interface of the data collecting is very important. The OPC Foundation has established a set of standard OLE/COM interface protocols intended to provides real plug-and-play software technology for process control and factory automation where every system, every device and every driver can freely connect and communicate. In this paper, the author will discuss the realization of data collecting and exchange between PI real-time database and the DCS based on OPC(OLE for Process Control).Supervising production in plant level in the SIS provides supervisory and management information for persons in power plant by report forms. The trad report forms made by hand can't show the production status in time. In this paper, the author will discuss how to design the report forms system which offers the person in power plant exact data in time and improves production efficiency.
