The calculation and analysis of transmission and distirbution network can be gottenthrough the analysis sotfware of power gird, which plays an important role in power systemplan, operation and research. Previous gird analysis sotfware exists some disadvantages, suchas poor universality, non-uniform data model, diiffcult extension, low efficiency of data access,so the development of a high storage efifciency, specified data model, easy expansion, wideopenness analysis sotfware has important practical value. The unified descirption method of power system resource can be obtained rfom the thirdpart of the IEC61970common information model (CIM), which provides a reliable theoreticalbasis for heterogeneous system integration and data exchange. In this paper, firstly the CIM isanalyzed and summairzed, the mapping method between the object model and relationaldatabase is proposed, and CIM model is established in relational database SQL Server2005and main memory database FastDB. Then the topology analysis is studied based on Topologyrepresentation of CIM, the interface of topological analysis is designed and a topologyanalysis method is given, and the reliability and validity of the method is verified by anexample. Finally, the basic operation interface and external data interface to public access aredesigned based an the fourth part of IEC61970component interface specification (CIS).According to the established CIM model and the designed interface, the prototype servicesystem is developed with C#language in Visual Studio2010platform, and the relevant clienttest program is complied, and the client to the server access is achieved through the WCFtechnology. The correctness and feasibility of the model and system design are veirfied by thetest results.
