As city construction gradually becomes saturated, the focus of urban construction in China has gradually changed from new construction to renovation.Historic district as an organic carrier of urban style, how to adapt to the new economic environment, social environment, and ecological environment, and through sustainable protection,The re-creation of seeking value has become an urgent problem.Taking guangzhou dongshan xinhepu historic district as a case study, this paper analyzes the historic district background, historical and cultural value, ecological space value and social and economic value, compares the protection and utilization planning in different periods, and analyzes the three-stage protection and development process, problems and challenges.Based on the theory of sustainable development, consider the DPSIR factors to construct the evaluation model of sustainable development of urban historic district.Based on the practical dongshan xinhe pu historic district, driving system, pressure system, the state system, the impact system and the response system,a total of 32 indicators, using index standardization and entropy value method to calculate, this district from 2006 to2020 sustainable development comprehensive quantitative evaluation system and five subsystems. At the same time, calculate the contribution degree of each factor of five subsystems, and analyze the contribution degree of different system factors.Study found that dongshan xinhepu historic district the sustainable evaluation index fluctuated upward trend, the reason is that periodic transformation and strengthening environment construction, and on the historic district of the whole system has a positive role in promoting sustainable development,as the dividend disappear under the function as well as the driving force,a downward trend of sustainable development. After a series of measures to implement the sustainable development level is improved in the target year.Further through the contribution degree calculation,it is found that the driving force subsystem and the state subsystem account for a relatively large proportion among the five subsystems, with the proportion reaching 0.2491 and 0.4356.Among them, economic development is the main driving force and drives the development of historical and cultural resources in historic district. The sustainable development status is mainly influenced by the investment ofenvironmental construction.Under the combined action of driving force, pressure and state, neighborhood safety and community service satisfaction are more sensitive.Investment in upgrading and upgrading, public facilities and other projects has not been implemented vigorously. For the economic environment, social environment and ecological environment, the re-creation of value is reflected in the economic benefits of the expected economic growth, economic scarcity and urban brand effect, the social benefits of the utilization of historical and cultural resources, the improvement of supporting facilities and the improvement of community life, the ecological benefits of the improvement of architectural style and street environment.Based on the above, the recommended measures are as follows. The first is the improvement of the landscape environment, which is mainly reflected in the continuation of the historical buildings, the open space node and the street environment;Second, the improvement of public space, mainly reflected in the optimization of the road system and the improvement of public facilities;Third, the promotion of business type economy, mainly reflected in the rational industrial layout, improve the quality and vitality of business type and the development of cultural tourism brand;Fourth, the improvement of cultural life, mainly reflected in the historical and cultural heritage, cultural activation and utilization and community life.It is hoped to provide some reference for the protection and development of similar historic districts.
