| As the important control equipment of fluid transport pipeline, valve is widely used in different domains of national economy. Value product has various kinds and serialization feature, and how to realize the rapid design is an important research subject in CAD (Computer Aided Design) technology application in the valve industry. The subject research is oriented to the valve industry application and the process of product design. Based on the conception and design idea of the structure design unit, the paper takes the typical valve product (butterfly valve) as the research object to divide the structure design unit rationally through studying the design flow and structure characteristics of the valve product. And the hierarchical structure model of the product structure design unit is also built. Based on this model, the parametric structure design unit library is built and the parameter driving is achieved. The realization mechanism and construction model of the product design based on structure design unit are determined by analyzing, summarizing and inducting the characteristics of knowledge composition and structure relation of the different structure design units, and the overall frame structure of system construction is also given. Through researching the assemble reference and constraint relation between different structure design units, the capture mechanism of assembly standard is determined to realize the rapid design and automatic assembly of the valve product. At the same time, the construction of the User-defined structure design unit library is convenient to the enterprise to store and call the standard parts, universal parts and User-defined structure design unit models.Valve product rapid design system is constructed based on structure design unit, with the supporting platform of domestic 3D CAD software—CAXA solid design and its secondary developing interface ICAPI. The supporting base of domain design knowledge is constructed by the database management system Microsoft Access, which provides efficient realization tool for the rapid design of valve products. |
