As a high-rise building cleaning and maintenance equipment,Building Maintenance Unit(BMU)has the characteristics of high working efficiency,fast operation speed,and good safety.The traditional method of BMU’S design has a large workload,low design efficiency,and high cost.In order to meet the needs of rapid design,the BMU assisted design system was developed.As a subsystem of the auxiliary design system,this article develops a parametric design module of BMU’S components of column and chassis,and realized the automatic assembly of the entire model of the BMU and completed the relevant calculations.This paper starts with the development principle and module division of the BMU’S auxiliary design system,and divides the column and bottom rack assembly library and parts library,and statistics and optimization of all forms of the column and chassis related parts,and establish a corresponding The SolidWorks model library and the ACCESS database establish a visual interface under the VB.NET platform.The user performs related operations in the program interface to complete the definition of the dimension parameters of the selected components.The program assigns the data to the corresponding model and completes the components’ parametric design.The overall design of the BMU is based on the design of the assembly.In the design of the assembly,the design results are independent of each other.Automatic assembly between the assemblies can improve design efficiency.This article starts from the principle of automatic assembly,introduces the method and steps of automatic assembly,describes the relevant functions of automatic assembly,According to different models,completes the automatic assembly of the BMU and generates the corresponding complete machine engineering drawing.During the BMU’S parametric design process,the selection and design of various parts and components are generally designed based on experience and the matching relationship between adjacent parts.The parts selection may unreasonable and the strength may insufficient.Therefore,components are selected for calculation and strength check to determine the rationality of the design scheme is required.This paper completed the selection calculation of the slewing ring and motor reducer of the BMU,checked the section of the column,and completed the calculation and verification of the track wheel pressure.The establishment of the BMU column and the bottom frame parts library meets the needs of the user’s flexible design.In combination with the previous assembly design,it can meet the requirements of different design ideas and reduce the design workload.In addition,the application of automatic assembly technology makes the overall design work much less.This topic makes full use of the advantages of SolidWorks secondary development and completes related research work by combining product features,which can provide reference for the development of other similar products.
