Urban Village Development phenomenon is a special product. It has a distinctly Chinese characteristics and the specific characteristics of the times. In recent years, as China's accelerating urbanization, villages in the population quality, land use, construction planning, environmental health and public security, the problem has highlighted, there are significant differences with the city, has an impact on the level of urban development and the living standard of the outstanding problems. With the urban development of its existence be questioned further in depth, villages produced a series of economic, social, cultural and other issues, so that the city had to face this particular area, and to take measures to assist to make it to the healthy development of the road.In this paper, based on previous studies, from the architectural planning of the position of the villages studied the phenomenon, and that, as China's urbanization process in a special phenomenon, changes in formation and development of villages in the city, rooted in China's urbanization speed, a large number of rural-urban migration, and the particular stage of social transformation in China's urban and rural management system as a special kind of urban communities, villages there are many problems. In this thesis, the theory of summing up the results at home and abroad on the basis of architectural planning and design to find the angle starting point to solve this problem, to fill the gaps in the study villages. Through the village for the survey in Taiyuan, more profoundly reveals the villages of the problem. And, in full understanding of its causes and the special nature of this phenomenon, based on urbanization and urban development under the inherent requirements, targeted to develop a strategy to transform villages in the city. This paper argues that reform in city, must uphold the scientific concept of development, take the urban sustainable development. Thesis first and second chapter describes the theoretical basis for transformation of villages, and focuses on the necessity and inevitability of Reconstruction of the Village; The third chapter focuses on the transformation of villages in major cities the method, means, mode inductive analysis; Chapter IV focuses on Reconstruction of the Village introduced in the construction planning; fifth chapter focuses on rebuilding villages in Taiyuan; Reconstruction of the Village Chapter of the experience and lessons to be summarized, and the transformation of villages in the future put forward.
