With the development of the economy and society, the social competition has been escalating, and the importance of education and talent people has being unprecedented. The improvement of talent standard decides the revolution of education and the transformation of learning. School education is the main channel of talent cultivation. On the background of those, the national new wave of curriculum reforms emerges, as the times require. Chemical education is the indispensable element of school education. Chemical education, which based on experiments, is an effective way of talent cultivation.The difference about chemical learning situation between middle-school students and college students is prominent. The learning situation contains mainly study attitude, learning methods, study habits and motivation of learning. To improve chemical learning, it is necessary to investigate the chemical learning situation of students. The self-developed questionnaire on chemical learning situation was used to survey hundreds of students in Bashu Secondary School, NO.11 Middle School of Chongqing, School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering in Southwest University. Then I analyzed comprehensively the results from study attitude, learning methods, study habits, motivation of learning and teaching methods. On the basis of research above and shown by the statistical results: study attitude of middle-school students is worse than college students; learning methods of middle-school students is worse than college students; study habits of middle-school students are worse than college students; motivation of learning of middle-school students are higher than college students; both middle-school students and college students prefer the step-by-step guiding teaching pattern and vivid scenes teaching pattern.According to the differences and transition between middle-school students and college students, some suggestions and countermeasures are provided as follow: 1. Enhance psychology counseling for college students to orient themselves to college life;2. Correct chemical study attitude of middle-school students;3. Impart correct chemical learning methods to middle-school students;4. Promote cultivating good chemical study habits of middle-school students;5. Strengthen the motivation of learning in college students;6. Eliminate antiquated teaching methods, and use proper methods to promote chemical learning.
