| With the progress of wood-based panel processing technology, and the extensive use of wood-based panels in plate type furniture and building decoration industry, panel sawing equipments have been promoted and gained rapid development. However, there are many problems for the traditional sawing equipments in China, such as backward technology, low outturn percentage and low automation, so whether machining accuracy, machine tool structure or production efficiency can not meet the requirements of modern production. Therefore, a new kind of NC panel sawing equipment, combining electronic, digital and computer technologies, has been urgently needed to design, in order to enhance the machining accuracy, production efficiency and automation of sawing panels.The NC two-way panel sawing equipment designed in this paper can achieve the function of vertical and horizontal sawing in a single device, which have adopted the form of gantry for the overall structure, and machine tool has consisted of bed, material sets of entrance and exit, worktable, positioning system, vertical and horizontal compression system, vertical and horizontal feed system, 90 degrees rotating platform, saw carriage with type of rise and drop, as well as electrical control system equipped. Sawing function have been accomplished by main and subsidiary saw blade installed on saw carriage; Feed system has included longitudinal (X direction) and horizontal (Y direction) feed, moreover, vertical and horizontal feed gave been achieved by stepping motor driving rack and pinion transmission to move in the corresponding linear guide rail; The conversion of vertical and horizontal cutting have been completed by 90 degrees rotating platform.The sawing processes for panels have been analyzed combining with the specific structure of NC two-way Panel Saw in the article, and some issues which should be paid attention on the time of vertical or horizontal cutting have been pointed out, as well as the main content of sawing processes. Heuristic algorithm of sawing optimization for NC Two-Way Panel Saw have been put forward though the study for common sawing optimal algorithm. The algorithm proposed can solve the problem well of two-dimensional rectangular optimal layout in the condition constrained by NC Two-Way Panel Saw cutting it even at one stroke. Consequently the higher utilization efficiency of panel has been gained in the machining use of NC Two-Way Panel Saw. Finally, the motion model of whole NC Two-Way panel saw equipment have been established in Pro/E environment, and motion simulation of the model have been analyzed, which provide guidance for the design to improve and perfect.The NC two-way equipment for Panel Saw, developed and designed with the study of sawing optimization theory and the innovations for the machine structure and processing, has achieved many functions such as the optimal layout for material, the optimal way of sawing, two-way cutting, digital speed control for empty run, and digital speed control for feed. The equipment designed can basically actualize sawing plywood with automation, higher outturn rate, error-free and large quantities. As a result, utilization efficiency of panel have a great increase, resources have been economized, and problem of low degree NC for process of cutting plates have been solved, all of which have enhanced the technical content of domestic NC Panel Saw. Thus the device should have a large market space and economic benefits. |
