Fixed length cutting is a key process for metal raw material processing. Becausethe cold metal saw machine has the advantages of simple structure, high productionefficiency, convenient maintenance etc, so Cold sawing machine is widely used in allkinds of rolling mill and hot extrusion workshop, and become an importantproduction equipment in modern steel rolling production line, In this paper, in order toanalyze a φ1800mm cold saw current overload, workpiece section burr machine inthe production process of the blade wear too much, too fast and other issue,Bycalculating the saw blade cutting process parameters,we study on the rationality ofsaw tooth parameters, optimization of cutting parameters, improving cuttingefficiency, prolong the service life of the saw blade.The parameters of cold sawing machine sawing include: the structure of saw,sawing parameters, The blade structure mainly includes: the saw blade thickness,clamp diameter and blade structure; Cutting process parameters include: bladerotational speed and feeding speed. Including the tooth profile parameters of blade:tooth rake angle, tooth angle, tooth pitch size, dedendum circle radius. Firstly,establish the sawing process mechanics model, analysis of the changes of cuttingsawing force;By using the ANSYS finite element analysis software, analysis ofdifferent parameters of the saw tooth stress changes;To observe the saw toothstructure on the sawing force and stress effects, find the saw tooth parametersreasonably, reducing saw wear serrated, prolong the service life of the saw, reduce theburr in can increase productivity, improve workpiece surface quality.Saw feed speed and cutting speed directly affects the production efficiency ofsawing. Simulation of H type steel sawing process using DEFOEM-3D finite elementsimulation software, The simulation can simulate the workpiece in cutting processunder the action, We can observe changes in the form and the temperature of thesawing process chip, According to the curve sawing, give the most reasonable cuttingparameters, improve production efficiency in reducing the base blade wear. Combining the theoretical analysis results and actual, analysis of workpiecesawing position, to find out the suitable cutting position, Improve workpiece sawingstability and feasibility, to provide theoretical guidance for sawing.
