Natural wood resources have high ecological value.China has begun to implement protection and basically stopped logging of natural forests.Policies and systems for the management and protection of forest resources are also constantly being improved to prevent the gradual deterioration of natural forest resources.The main body of wood resource utilization has shifted from traditional natural forests to planted forests.Small-diameter woods in planted forests account for an increasing proportion of the entire wood resources.And important changes have taken place in the supply structure of wood.Therefore,as the contradiction between the supply and demand of wood becomes more and more obvious,how to rationally develop and utilize small-diameter wood,improve its utilization rate and the added value of its products,has become a hot issue in research.In order to solve the above problems,this paper developed a processing method that can further improve the yield rate of small-diameter wood by longitudinal sawing.And the paper designed a mechanical structure that can use this method for small-diameter wood sawing.The paper gives new solutions and ideas for the efficient use of wood,contributes to the protection of the forest environment and the rational use of wood resources.This paper analyzes the source,characteristics and existing problems of the processed objects.The process factors that limit the yield rate when processing small-diameter wood with the traditional trapezoidal sawing method are explored.Aiming at the above process problems,a small-diameter wooden trapezoidal core-pulling sawing method and its specific process flow were proposed.The basic requirements and overall plan for the design of the small-diameter wood sawing machine are summarized.Designed the overall structure of the small-diameter wood sawing machine.The mechanical analysis and modal analysis of the sawing machine were carried out using finite element analysis software.According to the results of the force analysis,the model was imported;The material properties were added;The mesh was added;The load and constraints were applied;And the solution and analysis were performed.The design of the sawing machine meets the structural strength,rigidity and precision requirements.The natural frequencies of the first six modes of the sawing machine were obtained,which proves that there is no resonance phenomenon and the rationality of the sawing machine structure.According to the characteristics of the sawing method,the small-diameter wooden trapezoidal core-pulling sawing method was mathematically modeled.Two sets of software were used to optimize the yield rate.And two sets of optimal results were obtained.A comparative analysis of the results of the optimizations and the traditional trapezoidal sawing method proved the high yield rate of the small-diameter trapezoidal core-pulling sawing method.And the reasons for the increased yield rate were analyzed.
