Development Of C Grade Test Bench Of Electric Submersible Pump

A tester is designed to synthetically evaluate the performance of a new manufactured or maintained electric submersible pump. This tester can detect the main performance parameters of testing electric submersible pump automatically, with the abililty to gather, transfer and deal with the data, it can protract the performance curve of electric submersible pump, and export the data report forms and test records of electric submersible pump, then the delivery and model performance test of electric submersible pump are completed.In accordance with the national standards for test of electric submersible pump, and taken the actual needs of oilfield into account, the required testing items as well as functional requirements and basic parameters of the test bench could be determined. On this basis, overall design of the test bench is proposed. The test bench will be divided into several parts, such as, electrical system, control system, detection and acquisition system, fluid system and so on. This article is mainly about the design of electrical system, control system and detection and acquisition system.Electrical system is the power source of the test bench, including the power supply and electrical control part. 380V alternating current is adopted, and in addition, regulator, booster and other electrical equipments are used to afford the power supply plan according to the requirements of test bench. Electrical control part is mainly composed of relays and switches, which can protect the power supply part and provide electric quantity signals for detection system.Control system is designed to control the power supply part and electric quantity measurement part of test bench. For the situation of more contents and complex measurement and control of electric submersible pump test, we proposed PLC control project in this article, hereby, designed the control system of test bench and conducted laboratory test, which proved it is feasible to design the control system with PLC.Detection and acquisition system, which includes hardware part and software part is the key part of test bench. The hardware part is composed of several kinds of sensor, data acquisition module, industrial computer and other equipments, software part is designed with visual tools Delphi, it can perform the functions of data acquisition, analysis, storage, playback, etc.It is the first exploration of PLC control in design of control system of similar test bench in this article, simplified control circuit and enhanced the operation and maintenance of test bench. The actual application results showed that the performance of electrical system and detection and acquisition system can satisfy the requirements of the performance test of electric submersible pump.
