With the development of information technology and urban economic and social development, urban underground pipeline network has gradually expanded the size, drainage network, water supply network, gas pipeline network, power pipe network and so on. They criss-cross all over the city, constitute a dense weave nets. The net is kept at all times for the city to provide energy, information and water for economic development and the livelihood of the people. It provides the foundation and security. However, many ownership units cannot exchange the information with each other timely, coupled with geographic jurisdiction leading to construction delays and even the events of incidents occur. Therefore, we need for a unified visualization of urban underground pipeline information management system to address the above issues. Visualization of urban underground pipeline network information management system is to store, manage and analyze pipeline data, and three-dimensional visual display of the status of pipe network information system.This paper mainly studied and implemented GIS spatial analysis of pipe network-related functions, and application-related functions to provide decision support for emergency dealing. Two-dimensional includes map production, information query, the address matches and rendering, thematic map production and the production profiles; while the three-dimensional, including statistical analysis, connectivity analysis, buffer analysis, flow analysis, security analysis, and pipe fittings for the library management, and application of these spatial analysis capabilities for pipeline accidents, emergency response is given visual treatment program. In the paper, firstly I introduced the relevant theoretical knowledge and technical methods. Pipe network with the actual needs of extracting data to produce two-dimensional display of the road layer to complete the address matching and its rendering. After that, the paper on municipal pipe network visualization platform for emergency needs analysis module; the module should combine with spatial analysis capabilities and give the detailed design and development. Followed by examples of emergency dealing and it verifies the spatial analysis function feasibility and effectiveness.At the end of this paper, based on previous research work, we design and develop pipeline network visualization system, including the two-dimensional and three-dimensional parts; each part of analysis displays their features and verifies their correctness. It achieves the desired results.
