This thesis takes the pipe network of the steel and iron group as the research background, explore and develop ComGIS applications software platform. Using the GIS network topology analysis technology, combined with the GIS spatial databases to expand the spatial analysis technology application. According to the thought of"unified planning, distribution of the implementation", establishes an geographic information system of an integrated pipe network, forms a real-time dynamic data exchange and display platform,implements pipe network information sharing and dynamic management, provides a new method for the management to manage complex pipe network data, facilitates the design of pipe network, simultaneously promotes the city planning, management and the "digital city" construction.The pipe network system uses ArcEngine platform and C # programming language, combined with spatial data engine ArcSDE and SQL Server relational database management technology, to Carry on the client side GIS development. This thesis focuses on spatial analysis system implementation. The primary contents includes:(1)According to analyse the integrative storage pattern of spatial data and property data, discusses the way of using ArcGIS spatial data engine ArcSDE to implement the integration management of spatial data and property data, finally implement a comprehensive pipe network database designing.(2)Based on a thorough understanding of user needs, determines the system's operating environment and development platform, designes the system's overall construction and menu structure. Researches and explores the detailed design of each function in spatial analysis module:a)The network analysis in the system involves the analysis of shortest path and pipe burst. Based on Geometric Network,uses breadth-first search method to obtain the shortest path and the closing valve, uses component object class TraceFlowSolver,NetElementBarriers,EdgeFlag and JunctionFlag to implement the specific functions of network analysis.b)Connectivity Analysis: According to design pipe network to list, in which each node corresponds each feature in pipe network, defines class NodeInit,ReturnNode and LinkNode, takes the start point as the beginning, uses breadth-first search method to traversal the list, until meets the end point, finally judges the two points whether to connect.c)Uses a method of detecting collision of spatial pipes based on geometry to implement the function of detecting collision.d)Sectional Analysis: According to draw transect line, obtains the information of intersected pipes and intersections, calculates ground elevation, the center elevation and distance, finally plans sectional drawing.
